Debrah Morkun is a poet who lives and writes to find the intersections between poetry and magic.  To this end, she claims no particular location or nation state to be hers, but employs a gipsy sense which carries her through the thresholds.  Debrah is currently emerging from a five year hermitage, after attempting to shed several skins to unearth the portal within the body, which is the divine spring.

Debrah Morkun is the author of The Ida Pingala (BlazeVOX Books) and Projection Machine (BlazeVOX Books) as well as several chapbooks.  She is currently at work on several daybooks chronicling her travels, as well as a long poem entitled The Sea, Tattooed, and a life-long long poem called Hera Calf.
